The Guardians will again open a season with a lengthy road trip because of on-going renovations at Progressive Field.
Major League Baseball released all 30 clubs’ schedules for the 2025 season Thursday afternoon, and the Guardians are set to start the season March 27 in Kansas City against the Royals. After that three-game series, they’ll travel for a quick West Coast trip to face the San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Angels.
The Guardians home opener, the 32nd at Progressive Field, is slated for April 8 against the Chicago White Sox.
The Guardians also opened this season with a road trip to allow extra time for ballpark renovations.
