IDAHO – The Idaho State Parks are placing a blackout on camping and cabin reservations as they transition to a new reservation system.
The blackout will begin on Aug. 1 and will continue until Jan. 6, 2025, for all Idaho State Parks.
Existing reservations made for 2024 and into 2025 will not be affected by the blackout transition. New reservations for 2024 can still be made during the blackout.
New reservations for 2025 can be made starting at 8 a.m. on Jan. 6.
“The blackout is necessary to migrate from the current reservation system to the new one, which requires the transfer of park facility and customer information from one network to another,” said Seth Hobbs, Reservation & Registration program manager for ISP.
The team apologized for the inconvenience of the blackout but assured that the new reservation system will be much more user-friendly.
